Santa Fe Natural Tobacco
Company
The Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company has been sending
tens of thousands of our full-size wildflower seed
cards each month to all of their customers, as a
special birthday wish from the people of Santa Fe
Natural Tobacco Company. It has been a successful
customer retention effort that has not gone unnoticed
by the lucky recipients. Not only does the handmade
card reiterate the handmade identity of the company's
own products, it has also helped reinforce the feeling
of community between the company and their close
knit family of consumers. |
Volvo Motor Company
Volvo has included a handmade plantable key as part
of an appreciation package that goes out to customer,
and potential customers each year. The premium plantable
key is simply embossed with their logo and tag line
"for life," which works particularly well
with the living seed paper keys. A custom paper
mix and manufacturing process was employed to achieve
the exact texture, look, and feel the client desired.
Other options include a colorful raffia tie, real
flower petal inclusions, and a sealed cello bag. |

Timberland postcards for
Vanity Fair
The Timberland shoe company successfully sent our
seeded paper postcards as an invitation to a million
readers of Vanity Fair magazine "...to help
not only make someone's day better, but also their
environment." Our handmade postcards were automatically
sewn into the seam of a full color 2 page Vanity
Fair ad. The ad describes how "it is a little
better than your average postcard" and suggests
you send it to a friend. The postcard is embedded
with wildflower seeds. We couldn't agree more with
the theme of the ad, which our cards helped communicate...
"Doing something better, is just better."

Herman Miller Furniture Tags
High end furniture manufacturer included one of
these product tags on each of their new state of
the art office chairs. The seed paper was cut in
the shape of their logo (a leaf) and incorporated
with a printed and die cut hang tag. The tags listed
the Mirra Chair benefits and helped reiterate the
earth friendly nature of the chair. The handmade
detail oriented gift tag mirrored the handmade quality
and "first class" feeling found in the
chair. |

Blue Cross Blue Shield and
the Pittsburgh Pirates:
At several Pirates baseball games this summer tens
of thousands of postcards, with die cut blue seed
paper hands, were distributed to ticket holders
entering the games. The postcards were a mail in
response card that gave kids the chance to win tickets
to a night game, "sleep under the stars"
following the game at PNC park, and have breakfast
the next morning with some of the players. The contest
was sponsored by Blue Cross, who wanted to use the
seed paper hand to emphasize their message "Have
A Greater Hand in your Health". The response
rate of those returning their postcard entries was
said to be "astronomical"! |
Better Homes and Garden Bookmarks:
Magazine publisher put several of the flower shaped
bookmarks in a garden related gift pack that was
sent to thousands of advertisers and associates.
Bookmarks stood up in terra cotta planter pots along
with other garden related goodies, and were the
"highlight of the promotion". They particularly
liked the two-part bookmarks which served as both
a plantable gift, as well as a friendly leave behind
reminder of how the magazine can help advertisers
"GROW their brand". |

Israel Telecom direct mail:
Israel's largest and primary provider of cellular
telephone service sent 1 million printed cards containing
our violet petunia seed paper. Translated into Hebrew,
the card talked about a growing relationship between
the cell provider and their growing customers. Flat
and light, cards were sent as a premium to go out
with their customer's monthly statement. Delighted
with the promotion, the company found our seed paper
to offer a unique gift, of high perceived value,
with little or no additional mailing cost. With
over 1 million mailed, there have been lots of purple
petunias sprouting up all over Israel. |
CD Covers for National Advertising
Agency:
CD cover featured company information as well as
a holiday music CD as a premium gift to their clients
and customers. The company logo and graphics showed
through the dove die cut shape on the front panel.
The handmade seed paper included tree seeds to help
reiterate the paper saving recycled nature of the
gift. Product was designed to accommodate other
die cut window shapes for various promotions throughout
the year. |
